So yaaaaaaaaaaaaays, I had enough willpower to stave off the craving to watch 'Living til' the end' before I got to watch it with draconis_magus!!! And it was well worth it! It was a good movie with lots of cute music and all I have to say is Sean Maher did a fantastic job and was convincing along with being totally adorkable!!!
Though .... the ending we were both like WTF??? and 'you dumbass!' and it wasn't pretty. But I think the rest of the movie made up for it, especially when Jack (Sean's character) got a little too high on valium and started yelling at some kids painting graffiti.... well, he became a wall.
There are way too many adorable moments where he got a little panicked and bit on the neckline of his shirt ... too many for me to list, but, his facial expressions rival those from 'Jaynestown' in Firefly. I mean really.... Lookit that and tell me that's not adorkable????
We're still kind of puzzling over the ending and saying 'dumbass' under our breath every now and again, but really, it was a very well made movie :) And yeah, I'm a little biased but does it really matter.
In other news......SUPERNATURAL SEASON 4 STARTS TONIGHT!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! And Ray and I have gotten our friend Lisa totally hooked on it and she finished the first season in like 2 days. So she needs our season 2. I told her she couldn't watch the season premeire of S4 cause.... I mean if you saw the end of S3, what friend in their right mind would say 'yeah, go ahead, it won't ruin anything for you'??? So she's going to tape the season premiere and once she's caught up, that's when we're going to watch Season 4! It won't take her long to get through S2 and S3 though.... she's totally jonesing for it.
So that's what's going on, that and I'm going to pick up my new glasses tonight.... seems my eyes got better and I'm not so blind as I thought I was even though it's still a high prescription... and my astigmatisms (that I was told I had in both eyes) have now corrected themselves and I have normal, round corneas. I don't know how I did it, but.... I may as well keep doing what I'm doing and see what other good things might happen. I was so afraid that my eyes got worse.... really! It sometimes makes me panic when I have my contacts out and I can't read something that's maybe 8 feet away in big letters. But, I think I'm going to be wearing glasses for quite a while now.... cause I can take them off and rest my eyes when they're tired, and I can't really do that with contacts. Plus I got the anti-glare coating on one pair of the glasses so they'll be good for work, watching TV and night driving. *sigh*
