lol
On a lighter note and less kind of 'sticky' as hockey stats are, Ray and I got our costumes for Julie's wedding at the end of the month!
I'm going to be going as Batgirl, and I picked up a kickass costume (last one left too, phew!) that comes with all the bat-accessories...cept for a weapon, need to get a Batarang or something. I have to say, it looked pretty good when I tried it on. I got some black nailpolish and some black stockings too! hee hee
Ray, insisted on making up his own character and it's based off of a story of how he cheered up Heather when they were in College! I'm not gonna go into detail because it would ruin the suprise since Julie and Heather are on MySpace and I have a direct link to my journal there...so...I don't want to ruin anything, let's just say, it's abnormal but very sweet and they're going to laugh so hard when they see him!
But when we were looking around in Zellers for bits of Ray's costume last night, I started to peruse the 'already made' costumes and I nearly squealed!!! I found one of those full length skeleton body-suit things!!! a la 'Donnie Darko'!!! It would've been perfect, all Ray would've needed would be a grey hoodie and he'd be set!! And he admittedly said that it would be a kick-ass costume because 'the more obscure the better' and we had a discussion ending in our conclusion that Donnie was a hero so...tada, fits the whole theme of the superhero/supervillain wedding thingy!! I had the skeleton suit in my hands for the longest time but, we held it up to Ray and he's much too tall for it and he's just not as skinny as Donnie was. So, we had to put it back because unfortunately, it was the only one they had. *pout*
Damn though...it would've been cool!
It just makes me wonder though, what, if anything, any budget and so on, would you dress up as if you could???
