"Lack of closure could lead to early molting!"
Ugh...I really don't want to be here at work today, cause yesterday was the pits! Apart from sending off a few icons to the people that they were owed to, I got so so sooooooooooooo sick....bad soup, made me sick, flat on my back and passed out from the gravol all afternoon. Didn't get anything done....*sigh* What a shitty Sunday.
Friday night's dinner, however, was wonderful. We went home first and Ray gave me my present (sneaky so and so); He got me the British Vogue with Scarlett Johansson on the cover (squee) and ...he got me a silver necklace with a silver and diamond heart pendant! He's too much my man is!!! I put it on right away and we went to the Keg! I had French Onion Soup, a Filet (medium rare) with a skewer of grilled shrimp and twice-baked potato, accompanied by a nice glass of Cave Spring Pinot Noir (very woodsy) and for dessert...classic Creme Brulee...mmmmm. Ray had a nice house salad, grilled Ahi Tuna with sauteed mushrooms in a wasabi cream sauce (said it all tasted like bacon when he put it together), a New York Strip steak covered in Tomato, Basil & goat's cheese, rice & veggies...and for dessert, he had Panna Cotta with blueberries and peaches. We were soooooooo stuffed!! We did go to blockbuster though and picked up some movies and we watched 'She's the Man' when we got home, which was so effin funny! I laughed so hard, it was painful!
Saturday was okay too, I got to do a little laundry at least and we went to the mall where I blew my gift certificate given by my boss (didn't even last a day). I have to admit though, the certificate only covered most of what I bought. RW & Company just opened up again and they had a sale on; spend $95 before taxes and you get $20 off! So I got a gorgeous new chocolate brown coat, with a dusty rose scarf...and I used the coupon. But they had such great stuff that I picked up a bergundy shirt with embroidery on it and a flowy blue wraparound sweater...Ray used his coupon for those two! lol And we get to keep the coupons for the rest of the month! Wheee!!
We got home and made some supper, just in time to see that Calgary was losing to Toronto?? WTFudge?? We watched them come back for a bit and turned on Battlestar Galactica (whoo...obsess much Katy? um yes). I love that series...and just the Donnie Darko crossover references Ray and I make are too funny...cause Mary McDonnell is just so good in this series. So after that, we were just in time to see Toronto win the fecking game in overtime....with Mats Sundin's 500th career goal...oh brother, could it get any worse??? lol *meh* at least it was a good game and Calgary put up a great fight!! *hugs teh Calgary boys*
