Ahaha, close...that's the kind of description we had going with the characters we became during our game of Munchkin last night. We played with the Epic Munchkin rules...and we discovered we may have to make up some house rules because, part of the game is 'stab your buddy' which basically means to screw the other players over big time...but none of us seem to be able to do that very well (damn our Canadian nature). So...house rules to be made but, just out of sheer delight, I wanted to share with you what our characters ended up being at the end of the night!!!
I was a Level 13 Epic Munchkin!! Half elf Half gnome wizard donning the Pointy Hat of Power, the Spudded Leather Armour and sporting some Scary False Teeth whilst I wielded the Broad Sword and the Tweezers of Terror! Followed closely by my +1 Halfling Hireling that wielded a +3 Barbecue Fork!
Ray was a Level 19 Epic Munchkin Dwarf Cleric with Fake Elf Ears and a Really Impressive Title. He wielded the Mace of Sharpness...of DOOM and the Ghoul Lash while wearing Mithril Armour, the Cursed Skull Helmet and a Foot Mounted Mace. He also carried with him the Very Holy Book while riding his Giant Mutant Gerbil Steed with press on wings and was accompanied by his +2 Warrior Hireling that wielded a +5 Unnatural Axe!
draconus_major was a Level 19 Epic Munchkin High-Elf Super Munchkin Master Wizard and Thief riding a Wolf Steed that donned a Fire-Breathing Bridle. She wore a Chainmail Bikini and dealt justice with the Boots of Butt-Kicking, looking sporting in the Horny Helmet - upon which perched her Wizard Familiar just above her Cute Shoulder Dragon. She defeated foes in her path with the Staff of Napalm, the Stab-a-matic and cheated mightily when she thwarted with the Blessed Mallet of St. Eeeeeeeuuuuuuuuw!
shadowhawck was a Level 21 Epic Munchkin Gnome Wizard with a Dwarven Fake Beard who wore a very dangerous Spiked Codpiece, A Coat of Arms, the Gnomex Suit while wielding the Two-Handed Sword (that actually had two hands), a Joy Buzzer, the Hot Rod, the Bi-Sickle and the Poisoned Gentleman's Club thwarted those who could not be thwarted further by all of his other weapons. Also...he wore the Other Ring whilst riding his Eagle steed and was accompanied by his Gnome Hireling under the influence of +3 Mean Medicine wileding a +4 Siege Engine!
Whew...those were some pretty long titles! Though, it was a pretty long game, but so much fun! So much. Next Game is Munchkin Bites, the vampire and gothy version!
But, enough of my nerdy world...it's back to work as usual, which means, I'm bored and wish I could be playing some more games.
However...tonight is the NHL awards!!!! Kipper's up for two awards!!!! YAY! If he wins both (unlikely) I will jump up and down and squeal with joy...but really, I think the Vesna is in the bag and I can totally count on him taking that shiny bit home! :D Can't wait! *takes jersey out of closet to wear for good luck*
So, hopefully everyone is having a good day, and it's not as hot where you are as it is where I am...cause it's like walking into a very large sauna. Thank god I'm not only wearing a towel though.
And...*girly alert* For all you chickies out there, I just tried the new Cover Girl Lash Exact mascara....and it's sooooooooooo good!!!! No clumps or anything and the brush is so nice! Try it. *end girlyness*
