Summary: A multi-fandom AU set in 1890’s San Francisco, using familiar faces and names from CSI, LOST, LotR fame and elsewhere. Being the slashers that we are, this is not your ordinary parlour house, nor could we contain the slash fic to our personal journals. Summary: When Venus saw the fate of her favorite mortal descendant Gaius Julius Caesar she strove to attempt to save him. At the risk of angering the King of the Gods she dabbled in the affairs of mortals. To the soothsayers of the land that listened, she gave them this message: There will be a time when Rome crosses to foreign soil, a time when land after land will fall to her power. During this time, two men of war will love each other. If this love is declared on the Ides of March, then the fate of the Roman Empire can be avoided. If this love dies, then so does Rome decay into strife and war.

Summary: Ruff’s fertile mind was working in overdrive one evening (what’s new, eh). She was lamenting that we rarely see anyone write about Théodred before the War of the Ring years. So, after bouncing around some ideas this began to develop. Our AU begins about ten years before LOTR, mostly following bookverse except we made Théodred about four years younger than canon (but not as young as appeared in movieverse). Our version of Théodred is Val Kilmer in his role in Willow. Our story starts in TA 3007 with our Théodred 24 yrs old, Éomer 16 yrs old, and young Éowyn is 12.

Summary: Altonian society is industrial and colorless, grey. The Collective require obedience and conformity. Solaris Five is a green planet. Its inhabitants are a collective of an entirely different variety. When the crew of the Altonian cargo carrier, Patience, crash land on Solaris Five and meet the locals, the resulting culture shock is an eye-opening experience for them all.
Culture Shock was a 2008 MOME Awards nominee in the General RPS Long fic category.

This is a look forward in our Mate with Benefits universe, if the boys had 'zagged' instead of 'zigged' somewhere along the way. Karl looked especially rumpled with his scruffy long hair, bare feet, and ill-fitting shirts at a Xena Con mid 2001. Here’s one theory to explain the “Grunge” look.

Dear sweet jhobbit posted one of her mouth-watering Top Ten picspams of Karl’s arms mid-January. Haldoor, Jhobbit and I began a comment frenzy on this pic, Karl’s arms, tight jeans, undershirt/singlet regionalisms… Somewhere amidst the banter the loverly haldoor threw down the gauntlet and lobbed a plot bunny.

Summary: Written for the 25fluffyfics prompt challenge comm.. Two young guns in spy school will not only learn to become lovers and assassins, but 'do it' against a backdrop of fluffy snags along the way. This came from Karl’s comments about a running joke on the set that Kirill shot Jason’s girlfriend in Goa because the two had a ‘thing’ whilst in spy school together.
