(no subject)
Whoa-K. So I'm gonna do it. Gonna try and do Script Frenzy. This is a bad idea as I'm not good at the whole scripts thing, but I'm so aimless right now I really need a project to get me focused. So I'm going to do a graphic novel script and maybe only aim for 50 pages rather than 100. See, NaNo was scary but exciting first. I knew that even if I didn't do 50k in a month, I could do it if I switched my inner editor off. This is so not on the same scale. I've tried to write graphic novel scripts before. Failed. Stopped after only a few pages. I read some comics, but I'm nowhere near as well-versed as most of my friends. I wish I could draw, so I could actually compose the panels properly rather than just doing it with words.
So, here's to a year of doing big scary things. If this and an MA are the biggest scariest things I attempt, then it's small fry compared to like climbing a mountain or something, but at least I'll have done something I've never done before.
