Wendy Richard has died, at the far too young age of 65. She was unforgettable as Miss Brahms in Are You Being Served? (one of the earliest shows with an overtly gay character who was loved rather than treated with contempt) and as Pauline Fowler, THE matriarch, in Eastenders. RIP.
With all respect to the above, I don't post much and probably won't do again for at least a week so, pimping more! snowpuppies and velvetwhip have created a fantastic new awards site, absence_oflight which is doing extremely well but can always use more noms and votes.
