(no subject)
I'm off to Madison tonight. It's gonna be a long-ass trip, but it'll be worth it. I'm looking forward to seeing my family. Mom hasn't been doing well lately with her health so it'll be especially good to see her since I've been worried about her. I'll be getting back up here on Monday except it's gonna be my family traveling me up instead of another long-ass bus ride.
The reason for the traveling is to see my younger brother, Ben, graduate high school. He's the last of us five kids. We're now all adults and it feels kinda weird. We are no longer kids playing together (or talking together if you were the other girls). We are adults planning our lives and the paths to take. We're going our own ways and it's getting harder to get everyone together in one place at the same time. There are so many things I want to do while in Madison with so many different people. I want to celebrate Heather's birthday with her and spend time with Ben before he goes to college and be with Amii and Dad and Mom and Angel(although I doubt I can work it in :,( ) and Betsy. And there's places I want to go cuz I don't have nearly the variety of things up here in the UP than in Madison(A Woman's Touch, Hot Topic, Shakti, a real mall, etc...).
Enough for now, though. I have to make sure I've packed everything I'm going to need or think I might need. I'll try to give an update when I get back, but I know I'm horrible at posting so I guess we'll see.
