So I'm currently baking cookies for my boyfriends birthday. I get the dough ready and the first batch in the oven when my mom comes home. Immediately she's questioning me, "What are you making?" "Why?" And then she decides to tell me in a very condescending way how I 'should have used MINI chocolate chips, because then they would turn out better'.
So she starts to exercise, which means she's bouncing around the living room while listening to her iPod full blast. And even though she isn't paying ANY attention to what I'm doing, she continues to give me "advice". I take a batch out of the oven and sit down to wait for them to cool, and she screams at me (she's one of those people who talk louder when listening to music) that the cookies smell done and I should take them out.
I put in another batch, take that one out, and a few minutes later she screams again. " You are burning those cookies! You need to take them out!" Of course she doesn't hear me yelling back that there's nothing even in the oven.
She is good at baking, I get that. But she doesn't have to go around acting like she's the flippin boss, and I am incapable of making the most basic cookies ever.
Sorry for the rant, I just needed to say that.
