Engagement Party + New Diet ((a detox))
Wow!
We're stuck in Toowoomba, the cortina was making super weird noises when we left this morning so we had to turn around and come back to ma n pas. It's going to the mechanics tomorrow. Hopefully he can fix it and we can drive home, if not, me n Johnny California are busing it home :) ((minus all our presents ))
I'm starting a new diet tomorrow.
It's a detox, but also makes you lose weight, and also helps with fluid retention! Very excited. I've scanned all the pages and put them here. So if anyone else wants to join in, do it and let me know!
I have 8 weeks to be perfect for my wedding. Luckily I have complete and utter faith in my organisational skills, else I'd be a wreck ((i was a wreck yesterday... lol))
This diet includes an eating plan, as well as an exercise plan and some yoga. It also contains some information I didn't know. Like where the appetite suppressor is for acupressure :)
It's huge, I know. I had to edit this because the thumbnails weren't working :)

So the Engagement party was WONDERFUL! Johnny, ma and me made record bowls for the nibblies ((pictures soon)) and used records for the placemats. We had a tonne of food ((still eating all the leftovers)) and a tonne of fun!
Dad's friend's band the Song Dogz played for us, they were awesome and even learnt Stray Cat Strut for Johnny and I! We danced all night.
Most of our presents were from our gift registery so they all matched. The pressies that weren't from the registery were twice as nice!
We got::
A pale green kettle
A pale green toaster ((my kitchen is going to be pale blue, green and pink ))
A set of three lemon yellow mixing bowls
A pale blue kitchen pack including a whisk, spatula, mixing bowl, jar opener thingy, silicone jelly mould, CONTAINERS and oven mitts
A giant clock!
An electric blanket
A stone circle of friends ornament ((you know the kind you put a candle in)) and some incense and a candle
A really schmick picture frame from Red Vanilla
A pale green dinner set ((odd-shaped. like they are circular, but not circles. NEATO))
I'm so happy with all my new things.
Dad danced with tim's dad. Allan wore a wig also and it was hilarious/scary. Can't wait for dad to upload the photos.
So yeah. 8 weeks til the wedding. I know what I want, I just gotta get it. Applying for jobs and calling the cake lady, car man and Victoria Park Golf Course tomorrow :)
Also toiling up both my dresses and Betty's dress.
