Greetings from NMSU

Today is my offical first day of class. As I type, I am in the Zuhl library waiting for class to start. I am wearing a long skirt; but, as I rub my legs against each other I regret not shaving my legs this morning. NMSU seems like a little micro society. You can eat here, live here, and study. Hell, you don't have to leave the campus for anything. It also reminds high school. The cheerleaders are practicing in the field. I really don't know how they do it. It is so hot outside. Then they go cheer in the football games, which are real boring. Then there are all the other sports: soccer, basketball, tennis and so on. There is also the Greek club. I use to think that all sorority girls had to be pretty, but it looks like NMSU has proved me wrong. My roommate is a Navajo indian, I have only see her once since I moved in. She minds her buisness; I mind mine. Sometimes I don't even know if she is in the apartment. She is kind of tom-boyish. During the summer she was working for a construction company in Arizona. It gets kind of boring here. I don't know anyone, I can't rent movies, I don't have a tv.... uh-oh I am going to class. bye
