I took a shower today at four o' clock in the afternoon. It has to be the worst time to take a shower. The sunlight goes directly into my bathroom window at that time. It heats up my shampoo. It heats up my conditioner. While I am in the shower, I close my eyes and all I see is red. The sun is so bright I can see the red of my blood between the thin layer of skin that makes up my eyelids. I turn my face away from the sun and the bright red turns to crimson and finally to black. But perhaps it is not blood I see. I mean wouldn't it be blue since non-oxygenated blood is blue. Should not I be seeing blue instead of red?
I open my eyes and in front of me are the light yellow bathroom tiles. I believe the are three inches by three inches; the size of a post-it note. I stay under the shower head, just soaking.
