I've been listening to pop rock all night. Literally. Kelly Clarkson, Jessica Simpson, Mariah Carey, name it...
I've happily eased back into my adrenaline-rush mode of coping. I don't obsess about school anymore and I am consistently finishing everything a few hours before deadline. Take today: I had a speech to deliver fourth period and, despite having a week, I started working on it right after my idea hit me first period. That's right -- up until first period of the day it was due I had no idea what I was doing it on.
My church had a clothing drive and is opening it up to the Spanish-speaking community on November 30. They asked me to be a translator. ^_^ So I and two adults will be translators. Whee! I'm excited, needless to say.
They're lettin' me skip Spanish III and take Spanish IV next semester, assuming I pass a comprehensive Spanish III test. I'm hoping to do well. Without a syllabus, it's pretty random -- I don't know exactly what they'll test on... I'm not worried about it, though.
I finished my Juvenile Justice book review (a day before it was due), my Communications speech (three periods before it was due), my Calc corrections (the night before it was due -- psh, I must be slipping), and now, the final test: I'm finishing up all my World Geo work a few hours before my test. World Geo is harder than Calc for me, because it's mostly textbook reading and I HATE reading that boring textbook. Save me!
Oh well. Must chill now. ^_^ A long shower would be nice...
