Today for about two hours we (athena's circle) discussed paganism at a campus-wide tea. Only a couple people who weren't in athena's circle were there, so it was basically an athena's circle meeting. I thought it was really great and prompted me to think about my own religion and religious upbringing. So, bear with me

I don't know exactly what I believe anymore. I think the base of it would be Pagan, but I can't say I believe in magick, I mean, perhaps certain forms of it, but not in the sense that you can make things levitate and stuff like that. I think people have the power within themselves to make things happen, but only if they have the will. (and let's face it most people are fucking lazy, so they don't have the will) I don't know if I believe in Astrology, but I like it and I think it's fun so I'm still "into" it he he. I think most of all I believe in respect, I think people should respect each other and the earth and all living creatures more. I also believe in kindness, why do people, without true cause, put negative energy out into the world? If you don't have a reason to talk bad about someone, and you don't need to be rude, then don't. That just enables the cycle of hate and meanness to continue. For example: if I hear someone saying something bad about someone, or if they come up to me trying to talk bad about someone, I ask them to stop, and I ask them if they have anything better to talk about. I guess that sounds bitchy of me but it really bothers me when people are mean and rude for no reason. I guess I just believe in being a decent person, and if I end my life feeling like I did what I could do to be one, then wherever I go when I die will be the right place. Now I have to go to work because evil society makes it so -_-!
