i only wanted one dog to come from a breeder and that was a c how chow because sky is so lil they arent always very kid friendly full grown unless they are grown up around them, but instead i realized the need of all the bullys that needed homes, i wanted to adopt an older one but chris was afraid that any dog past 6months is hard for us to train around with sky, since sky is our #1 priority. but after my boys retire (its what i call when they die) i'm gonna rescue a full chow chow! i dont want to buy from a breeder w hen i see puppies come into my job every weekend needing homes that are only 6wk old from people who threw them there to be put down, seriously there puppies! its not hard to find a puppy a home, i dont know why people give them to a shelter, u can place adds everywhere and eventually your lil ones will be gone in a zip! full grown dogs on another hand are hard to find homes tho. i like slightly older dogs cos no potty training lol but booger sky here!
but yea like you if we did get that chow chow which obviously u know we didnt lol i woulda made sure i seen EVERYTHING!
one of my ex friends parents breeds boxers they are kept clean are fed and are taken care of ect but i still dont like the way people keep dogs in pens, they are suppose to be pets not breeding objects for money. and when u have them out in pens they obviously dont get enough attention.

i know if you check a lot of shelters that do rescue or have bully'
s they actuelly give discount price! theres one an hour away by us u can adopt a bully for 60bucks. thats where that dog was i wanted so bad i cried on the way home lol. we've went there quite a few times, but i like that they are a no kill shelter. so i knew my mr. would find a home. and sadly thats where we had to give angel up to because now we dont own our house its hard to find ppl who will let u rent with three dogs? and shes so anti indoors at times (bad previous owners! keeping her outside since she was 6months old!! gr!). but i like how the rescue groups go to the kill shelters and save dogs. and actuely you know a lot of the law inforcement dogs? they usally rescue and adopt there dogs as well.

yea shelters are cruel places and most put dogs down by breed or something simple like the mange that can be cured with a few meds. they dont care. the shelter that was closest to us before we moved here automatically put a pit down after the five day waiting period of the owner to see if his dog was there or not weather it was trained for therapy or not they dont care, i wish all shelters like that and control was shut down! i dont know how the women behind the desk can sit there and be fine with themselves.

we put papers in to adopt a jack russell once but he got adopted before our papers were done being filed or whatever they do, but they liked our application and wanted us to adopt another dog in the future but thats when we adopted angel from the ppl who kept her outside all the time. we took a risk with her since she was full grown, she was a sweet heart but no manners. i cant do the kennel thing. the dog is part of my family so they belong with us. i even push it with chris cos i let em sleep in the bed! hee hee. but he works nites again lol. one of my ex's got pissed cos he'd stay th enite and i had a twin bed, and it'd be me him, my chow, a rott puppy, my small corgi mix and then one of my cats. and chris will say or try to do something and i'll tell him flat out i'm sorry they mean more to me then him. its the truth. he just my baby daddy! lol.

yea sky is like that too! so when hes older its what i'm doin. :) i told chris he needs to get caught back up on bills today, so then we can at least foster a dog until he/she finds a perminant home. i think i could smudge my landlord into one more dog lol.
he just loves dogs and cats! so when we are in a pet store you gotta really watch him, i mean people shouldnt bring there pets into a petstore since its a public area with ppl and children if there pet is aggressive but they do or the dog could just be old and not in a great mood that day and be snippy. so i always ask to pet ppls dogs, but my fave to do!
we live in a really pit bull populated area, almost all the shelters and rescueds are half pits half labs. well guys walk in all big and buff with there lil pitty trying act like its some mean shit, so me and the other girls like to go and ask if we can pet him, he hesitatess and they always say yes, so we pet em and baby em then we ask if they can have treats and we spoil em! lol and th en everyone around see's this big ol buff guy with this harmless fat ass pit that is nothing but a gengle giant. :D oh i love it

yea potty training was a pain in the ass!
we ditched the crates, they were staying inthe laundry room as well at night, when sky napped and when we ate (sky likes to feed them! so i dont want them to bed) well they still had accidents in there, but when i keep them out here with me, no accidents! i think they think its okay to go in there or something. doesnt matter i want them out here anyways and now it makes it easier to keep them o ut here.

lol see the thing is with guys, they may st art something talk about something and like you said not go threw with it. but who sits at the house the majority of the day? us! so usally things go my way in the end as well. right now chris likes to shit talk all my plans just to make me mad on purpose! but i know the truth is, if i wanted to do something in the end he'd do it. Exspecially with dogs, theres always almost one specific leader of the pack in the house, and in this house its me. they come when i tell them they stay when i tell them and they go when i tell them. chris tells them to go potty they run to me lol. sorta why i like male dogs, like guys you can get them to do whatever u want to lol
