Room 303; Very Late Saturday Night
It was getting very late, and Alphonse? Was getting concerned.
After talking with Bel earlier, he was trying to figure out where Walter and Pup had disappeared to... or Pippi, and Pip, and Nadia, for that matter. Usually they were somewhere. Maybe he was just worrying for the most part, since he didn't go out nearly as much as the rest of them did, but it wasn't like Walter had much of anywhere else to spend the night at, especially not for two nights straight.
But no worrying, he told himself. It'll all end up being something not worth sitting on for too long.
Cuddles was finished playing with the superball Pup had introduced him to the other day, so instead he jumped from the floor to the bed and promptly plopped down by Alphonse's side. He scritched behind the kitten's ears and in the quiet room Cuddles made a soft purr.
"It's getting late," Alphonse said to the kitten quietly. "I think we should both get to sleep." Cuddles made no indication on how he felt about that; Alphonse turned off the lights and pulled the blanket over them both.
Tomorrow. He's definitely going to find something out tomorrow.
