I think this was the most active I've been for an entire weekend in a long time. I'm exhausted, but it was worth it.
Thursday after our intramural vb game (we won! 2-0), Brandi and I ended up going out. We were originally on a hunt for me to have a green beer, but I ended up having another green beverage, so I won't complain. Anyway, we went and picked up half of the Phi Delt fraternity and piled them into my car and headed to Lamar's. Which ended up being the shit. You can't touch velvet walls. We had a good drunken talk with Joanna, and I'm happy things are better between her and Brandi and that everyone is talking again. She makes me laugh. Closed down Lamar's and headed to Buck Wild and ended up closing it down too. St. Patty's Day was the shit.
So Friday I ended up getting off work at 1 and being lazy the rest of the day. Went to Chilis with Brandi and Andy Feher and Matt Powell and then watched a bunch of people get drunk and play poker. Fun, nonetheless.
Saturday was our father-daughter picnic and I got to see my daddy!!!!!!!!!!!! It went REALLY well and I think everyone had a great time. In the middle of the picnic, though, I found out I had a new date to Founder's Day. Whatever... I still got to go and I still had an amazing time. haha... From there, I ran to Katie Ziegler's to find something to wear and ran back home to get ready by 5:30 (which didn't happen) and then we headed to the Chattanoogan. I was really impressed with the whole thing. I have a lot of respect for that fraternity now... I see why Brandi hangs out with them all the time! After dinner we went down to the Foundry and hung out there for a while. Amy P and I got our ass handed to us in shuffle board. I spilt my beer all over the game... it was great. We left there and went to T-Bones for a little while. That whole situation was just funny. But I had a fabulous first-expierience at T-Bones and everyone was having a REALLY great time. I'm proud to say my roommate puked off the deck, but I am unhappy to say I missed seeing that.
Haven't done much of anything since Saturday night, but this week I've suddenly realized is going to be really busy. Derby Days start today and we have a mixer with TKE tonight. Among 589732864766908237475 other things I have going on with Founder's Day and Formal and school... a long weekend will be much needed.
It makes me happy to see that so many people are SO happy right now. I'm glad to know it's not just me, and I have such a good time when the people around me are happy. I feel like a giddy 3rd grade school girl... hehe I love it. The apartment is back to happiness as well, which makes me look forward to going home every day again. I can't stand tension. Or a messy room... which needs to be cleaned. gah. Got to do that too... I'm out. Like a dead horse.
