(no subject)
Hey ya'll! Senora Dani called me on the telephone yesterday and commanded me to get onto livejournal, and we all know how convincing she can be, so here I am! Guys I have bittersweet news, I hadbeen planning to go back to Egypt for both fall and winter semester, so we were never going to see each other again. But now there is no money and I will be coming instead to BYU next fall, meaning we WILL see each other YAY! I'm sad, but there are definately some good things aboutit. A silver lining if you will.
I've been driving my brother to seminary every morning, which is pretty early, how did I ever do it? But everyone is still in school and Dad is in court all day, so i am pretty bored. Luckily my mom decided to alleviate my boredom by having me pull weeds from the garden. Which in some states is a form of child abuse. But that never bothered my parents.
Also, to add to my exciting life, I have poison oak on the back of my leg, right in the pit of my knee. I went backpacking with mi padre for a week, and there was so much poison oak and we avoided it so well and then the last day all of a sudden i get this red bumpy patch on the back of my knee. I never even wore shorts! I dont understand!! Anyway its miserable, I want to itch it all the time and it just doesnt seem to be going away. I'm sure it is, I will just wait it out with lots of calamine lotion.
In a month I go to OCS for the USMC, and I'm actually looking forward to it. I mean I know it will be the most miserable experience of my life, but when you see me next I'll be a lean mean fighting machine, and most of you will cower before me. Maybe even Ro.
Today, after the weeding and cleaning of the house, I think I'll go to the library on base and maybe even check out a book or two to keep me company. Or I may end up watching Star Trek and Law and Order reruns on TV until everyone comes home and accuses me of severe laziness. Love you all!
