So somehow I spent 48 hours straight with Gary and we only wanted to kill each other once - momentarily. It was fun though. Walked up to SVA on Friday after class and we went to see Kill Bill with Alnie. Then we walked over to see their new apartment location. Afterwards, we hung out for a bit, then walked to Frank's to get the most amazing garlic knots in the city then over to Pizza and Pasta cause their pizza is a bit better, then took our food to Madison to dine alfresco - on a park bench. Veryy nice. Then we each offered synopses to each other for some after dinner entertainment - Gary: Taxi Driver, me: Voltaire's Candide.
Eventually we made it down to nyu and got a six pack. We planned on watching The Graduate but just talked and played and what not. OOOOOO!!! I forgot! We player volleyball and I rock hardcore! Then it was off to Mamoon's around 2 so I could finally get my falafel experience. Sadly, I was not impressed.
Woke up at 2 the next day, and I was in crazy, stressed-out Catherine mood. Made it outside by 3:30ish and wasted money on food at the outdoor festival/market thing at Washington Square. But the day was lovely, so I didn't mind much. We stopped at Ben and Jerry's on our leisurely walk back up to SVA.
We went over to the East River where I tried to read and Chris and Gary tried to skateboard, but we were frightened away by some pre-pubescent skater all-stars. Later, we watched The Graduate and even later we walked down to Palladium for some quality time with Gregoire. Ended up spending obscene amounts of money on beer, food, and cigarettes (life's essentials, you know?) and ended up watching Reservoir Dogs with Gregoire nowhere in sight. Finally made it back up to SVA where we laughed and played a little more and eventually passed out around 6 am.
Rich decided to greet us a few hours later, and I'm pretty sure he got an eyeful of both of us...isn't he lucky?!
Dragged my ass back down here around 3 pm and now I am supposed to be doing homework...and as you can see, I'm not doing too well.
PS. I'm in love with this city.
