Ouch...
Well, what a day it was yesterday! They told us at work we had full time back for at least two weeks as they needed us all in the mould shop for orders. Donna and I ended up on the 644 mould m/c, which was actually quite fun. Nothing to take away the boredom better than a new challenge. Trouble was, they had another concern in the TRW room, and decided I looked like a GREAT mug to drive over to Fradley Park near Litchfield with Jac and Donna to go check all the customers stock - and dudes, I don't even make these particular parts...
Anyway, I said I'd do it, as a drive out is always better than a stuffy factory, and the petrol allowance is pretty good. Thing was, the customer told us they had 5000 parts, and in fact they had more like 9000...
By the time I'd got there it was 3pm, and we were buggered. Our boss, Kent came over later to try and help, but it was gone 8pm before we'd done, and then I had to get us home. I didn't get home until gone 9pm and hadn't eaten since 11am - I was starving and very knackered! Anyway, they didn't want to pay overtime so I ended up with today off, which was good because I needed to pay a cheque in the bank!
I still feel buggered from yesterday, though. Hauling boxes around for hours does nothing for me, apparently....
Still, my Casanova DVD arrived in my absence, and so has my Who t-shirt - both are very cool! I also finally found a pair of shoes I liked for the Asylum wine reception today too! I hope they look okay - I have no concept of fashion muhahaha!
I broke the bank and got a £1.50 mains charger for my Tom Tom too this afternoon off EBay. I'm sick of trying to charge it on short car journeys! Must remember all this crap for Wales...
I'm not going to write tonight again. My mind is still wanting to go bye bye after yesterday and running around shopping and dentists etc today.
Looks like DT is gonna win the Shakespeare Hall of Fame vote, despite the bastards pulling him down. Quite right too.
Now I need a snooze. If only I could snooze before 11pm at night lol!
