Huston...we have a printer!
Oh I'm well chuffed! Sharron told me Wilko had a cheap HP all-in-one printer, so I went into town and my stupid little store actually had them in stock! It seems a nice little machine, fast, does the job, and - it's black - my favourite colour! Awesome. What more could a girl want for 30 quid?
Anyway, got that, did the weekly food shop, paid the caravan ground rent and was back for around 2, I think.
Then I had another surprise waiting for me! The 'In The Hunt' Supernatural book I wrote the intro for is finally in print, and my free copies had arrived, along with the rest of the cheque! Way cool. It's a very nicely presented book too!
So, had a snack and installed the printer, did the last part of UOS chapter 4, and was supposed to listen to John Barrowman on Radio Derby, except he didn't seem to be on! Appaently, mom got the time a little wrong, so I missed him. Luckily managed to find said interview on the Beeb's iPlayer, though! Saw the new Torchwood trailer today, too. I think I'm really gonna like that. It looks a bit 'Village of the Damned' if you ask me.
Who is willing to bet on who the burned, mangled corpse inside Torchwood is...*giggles I know, I know!*
Well, anyway, things seemed to be going well until I looked at my MasterCard balance. The Hilton haven't taken the right amount out for my Asylum room! I rang them, they insist they've been paid. I rang my bank, who insist they haven't been paid. What on earth do I do? I'll cry if I get there and am told no room!
Not a lot I can do right now, though, as the Hilton insist they've had all their money....
