(no subject)
huh. My nextdoor neighbor (back in qualicum) was murdered. This is especially weird because there's this value village, like, 10 minutes walk from here (omg love love) and someone was murered there a few days ago and I was just joking about how rough van was compared to sleepy little qualicum and now my neighbor who's property borders ours was killed.
Rough.
My new job is interesting enough. I am in charge of the machine shop (omg scary @_@; ) but this mill is a LOT less scary than the one at school. The sketchiest thing is that its a true CNC, ie I have to code the instructions in g code. The rest of the machines are relatively safe and simple to operate. The Mill back at the uni is scary scary shit.
I also get to manufacture parts and test a lot of stuff. I had to sign all of these crazyass confidentiality reports, but I can just say that I'm working on a fuel cell pack for a cellphone that you clamp on and then you can use your cellphone for like 12 hours without recharging compared to whatever it was before. It's so weird.... the fluid isn't H it's an formiric acid @_@; so that means I'm walking around the lab in a crazy lab coat and goggles and gloves.
Today sucked at work though. I was freaking out because I wasn't able to complete the task of building these things. I just didn't want my supervisor to think I was incompetant on the very first task he gave me. So I cried a bit and then bought and ate a chicken borrito. Hmmm. Thats about it. Lawl @ myself for being such a baby. :\
