A/N: next chapter of will you be mine should be up soon
Pulling up in his black Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 Roadster into his personal parking space, Yunho smoothly stepped out, smoothing his sharp Armarni suit out, swinging his leather briefcase in his hand, holding his keys up and clicking the lock button for his beautiful car as he walked away without looking back.
He took a lift up to the 20th floor, were he stepped out confidently, and swaggered to his office, passing his coat to his secretary on the way.
“Good morning, Boa.”
“Good morning, Yunho oppa!”
“Do you have the Shim vs. Kwon file for me, Boa?”
“Yes, I do, Yunho oppa.” She handed him a thick file as they walked to his office, and he dropped it on his desk with a clunk.
“How was your weekend, Boa.”
“Oh, it was fantastic! I spent it at my boyfriends place - not that we’re serious or anything...”
“Mmmn, that’s nice.” Yunho replied offhandedly, while logging onto his apple mac. Boa huffed and left the swank office.
Yunho sighed, and looked out of his window, taking in the fantastic view, over looking Seoul. It was lunch time, but Yunho was still in his office, with no intentions taking a break. Smells of delicious food wafted through the hallways, and Boa even came in to ask if Yunho wanted anything delivered, but he refused. She knew the symptoms well, constant work, not eating, that steely glint in those deep eyes - Yunho had a juicy case. Shim Changmin was an executive at a large bank, and had ‘attacked’ by Kwon Jiyoung, his boss, and wished to sue him for harassment. The only problem was, Jiyoung claimed Changmin made several advances on him, and when Yunho had seen them together at the initial meeting with Kwon lawyer, the chemistry between Shim and Kwon was undeniable.
To make matter’s worse, Choi Dongwook, one of the partner’s eldest son, definitely had a thing for their client, Changmin. Yunho’s father was the other named partner at Jung&Choi, and Yunho was competing with Dongwook to be made the next partner at the prestigious law firm.
His thoughts were interrupted by a knock at his door.
“Boa! No now, I’m busy.”
“Is that how you treat your poor secretary?”
“Umma?” Yunho smiled, and jumped up out of his chair to hug his mother.
“What are you doing here, umma?”
“Your father rang me to ask me to meet him for lunch. He’s still in a meeting, so I thought I’d drop in and see you. I haven’t in so long, you’ve been very busy recently.”
“I’m sorry umma, I’ve just been swamped in work...” Yunho let go of him mum, and walked back to his desk, shuffling papers.
“Sweetie, I understand how important this job is to you, but I thought you were trying to get your memories back.”
“I am umma,” Yunho mumbled uncomfortably, not looking at his mother “I swear, when I finish this case I’ll get right back to it.” He smiled, and his mother frowned, but left.
Slowly, Yunho sat back down, thinking. Three years ago he’d been driving somewhere (he had no idea where) on his motorbike when a drunk driver had collided with him, and when he woken up four weeks later, he was in hospital, with all the memories from year seven to the accident gone. Oh, he could still remember what he’d learnt in school, and he remembered everything before the accident like it was yesterday, but all his high school friends may as well have never existed for what they meant to him. At first, they’d tried to hang out with him while he finished his law degree, but had given up after several months of Yunho still not knowing who the hell they were.
So he’d joined his father’s company, and had been working there for just over a year. He’d bought a stunning apartment overlooking the Han river, and was considering buying an Alsatian. The only thing he was missing was a girlfriend. God knows his mother had set him up with enough beautiful girls, but he just wasn’t turned on by them, no matter what they did. One had even moved in with him a while ago, but after her brother visited, he found himself replacing her face with her brothers while they were in bed.
His intercom buzzed, and Boa told him he had a new client, Mr Park.
“Send him in, Boa.”
Straightening his tie in the mirror, Yunho opened the door to welcome his new client. Mr Park waked in, and shook Yunho’s outstretched hand.
“Mr Park, please have a seat. How can I help you?” Yunho walked behind his desk and sat down in his leather armoire, while Mr Park took one of the squishy chairs facing him.
“First, call me Yoochun. I recently realized something about myself and my preferences. About three months ago, I went on a business trip to London, where I met a young man you showed me around. Anyway, we got along very well, and hen I came back to Korea, he came with me.”
“I see. So what’s the problem? Are your parents uncomfortable about your, er, preferences?”
“Oh, they don’t care, they live in America. No, the problem is my wife. She can’t accept that our marriage is over, and refuses to sign the divorce contract. One of my friends told me that you are an excellent attorney, and could help me out of this pickle.”
“Ok, I have a few question. First, has your wife ever had an affair?”
“Not to my knowledge.”
“Right. Has she ever shown signs of mental illness?”
“Not unless you count voting Republican.”
“Ah, I see. Has your wife ever done anything to make you doubt her intentions when marrying you were anything but true?”
“You mean did she marry me for my money?” Yunho nodded his head, fiddling with his pen. “No. She has plenty of her own money. So, do I have a case? Can you convince a Judge to grant me a divorce?”
Yunho looked at him, leant back in his chair, raised an eyebrow.
“Of course, Mr Park.”
“Did you talk to him, Yoochun?” Junsu ran up to his boyfriend the moment
“Yes, yes, I did, baby.”
“Well? What did he say?”
“He said we can try!” Junsu squealed, and Yoochun couldn’t bear it anymore and kissed him. Junsu squealed again, and Yoochun slid his hand up Junsu’s top, only to have it thwarted away.
“We have to invite him for dinner. My cousin’s coming over tonight, please ask him to come!”
“Susu, I can’t just ask him to come for diner, I just met him today! Anyways, I’m sure he has better things to do.”
“Well, then I’ll do it!” Junsu grabbed Yoochun’s phone, and ran out to the garden to call Jung&Choi.
“Hello? Oh, hello, is Mr Jung there please, I’m a client of his, Park Yoochun. Yes, thank you. Mr Jung?”
“Mr Park, have you thought of something for your case? Mr park?”
“Um, no, um, I’m not Mr Park...” Junsu froze the moment he heard that voice. Could it be a coincidence? No, he’s just imagining it. It’s been three years.
“Excuse me? Who is this?”
“I’m Junsu, Kim Junsu, Yoochun’s, urm, friend.”
“Oh, I see, the one from London. How can I help you?”
“My cousin is coming over tonight for dinner, and I would like to thank you for agreeing to help us by inviting you. If you’re not to busy. I completely understand if you can’t-”
“What time?”
Yunho couldn’t explain why he had accepted the offer. Maybe it was because he had liked the sound of the young man’s voice over the phone. Maybe it was because he had like Park Yoochun. Maybe it was because he’s been working so hard lately. Or maybe it was because he was just lonely.
He arrived at the house at around seven, with a bottle of expensive wine in his hands. He had changed, but he was still in a suit. He rang the doorbell, waiting for someone to answer. He heard a tumble behind the door, giggling, and suddenly the door was thrown open, and kind faced young bot with dyed chestnut hair facing him. However, as soon as the man saw him, the huge smile disappeared, and he whispered “Yunho...”
“Mr jung - I mean Yunho!”
Yunho saw Yoochun stand up, realizing the man had been on the floor, and he was invited in.
“This is Junsu, my part-”
“Your boyfriend. Is your cousin here yet...Will we be eating soon?”
Yoochun laughed, and took Yunho’s coat. Junsu stood there, amazed, not knowing what to do. His cousin was going to be here any minute, and he could not see Yunho here. As it on cue, the doorbell rang again. Junsu opened the door, to see his cousin standing there, smiling.”Aren’t you going to invite me in, Jun?”
“Of course, of course!”
He brought his cousin through to dinning room, and introduced him. The other two looked up, and Yunho stared at the beautiful man.
“Guy’s, this is my cousin, Jaejoong.”
Jaejoong looked in shock at the guests
“Yunho!”
