Returning to a boring and predictable week of classes never fails to ruin my Sunday evenings...

I took off from Albion on Friday so that I could go to a bar crawl with Kevin and his coworkers in Royal Oak. I’m especially glad I was able to hang out with Matt and Kirsten - she’s my favorite! I have to give props to Kevin for being amazing and carrying me around Royal Oak because I stupidly wore shoes that were a size too small (they were really cute though)

On Saturday I went home for a dinner my mom cooked for her friends, Liz and I. The meal was amazing and I’m salivating thinking about its deliciousness. Later that night, Kevin and I met with Smurph and his friend Hannah. We ended up at Bakers Square for mmmpie and two hilariously intimidated/nervous servers (one of which could have passed for Fabio’s little brother)

Every time a holiday rolls around, I feel really sad that they don’t mean what they used to. It depresses me to know that the feeling of anticipation that you have as a child will probably never come back. I would love to enjoy decorating for Easter, dying eggs, and Easter egg hunts in the way that I did when I was 5, 8, even 11 years old. A part of me still doesn’t want to believe that I’ll never honestly get to be a kid again…

Like a kid, I don’t want to go to bed quite yet.
