ok, I don't know if anyone else could possibly have noticed, but after Thurs and last night, it's starting to really bother me. Ok, there's this dude, and I'm *nice* to him, and talk to him at Breakers and Geraldine's because Andy vouched for him saying he's cool and not some creep...well, why the fuck am I running into him all the time then? Thurs and Fri night he followed me around Breakers and Cabot St like some lovesick puppy like I'm supposed to pay attention to him or something. I'm like...."Ugh! Leave me alone! NOT INTERESTED! You're OLD!" Finally I got sick of it last night and was like, "I gotta get going, I gotta work tomorrow morning"...and he insists on shaking/holding my hand to say goodbye. Well, I go outside and get distracted and held up by friends b/c there's some DRUNK taking 20 minutes to get into his car, start it and take off, nearly taking out Kelly and the girl he was walking with on the side of the road...what an ass...and then the guy comes back out saying that he thought I had left...welll, I was talking to a few friends b/c I hadn't seen them in awhile! Whole ordeal thing again!
I think I will be taking a break from hanging around with my big brother. I don't feel wanted at all there anymore and I only go to have fun, and its starting to get boring. After next week I'll be hanging out with whoever's playing up the street on Thursdays anyway. I figure this week I'll go, bring Chrissy out and celebrate a belated birthday b/c she wasn't around this week, and then stop going.
Pearl St last night was boring. There was literlly, NOBODY THERE. So I spent my time talking to Lu, Trev, & Mike by the bar. Lurok was sayin' how he's trying to get something big together that I am really psyched about, and he let me in on ONE of the bands he's reuniting for it!!!
Scenic Route wasn't bad...The Sheffields - ehhh. Plum Crazy was cool, finally got to meet and talk to Greg in person, seems I really liked his other band, Binaural, but they're having to deal with things I guess. I had fun talking to him about sweaty shows at Northern Lights, and we talked about Levelhead too seems he remembers when they came to North Adams to play with Camphora & Annogen back in Feb (I was supposed to go to that w/ Nicki but it snowed like a bitch that night!). Neither one of us can actually believe that both Brookfield and Levelhead no longer exist though...::sob::
Maxxtone put on a good set, no clue as to why Pete didn't show up...but oh well...Watched part of Blue Vagrants, and then left...
Came to Cabot, got physically attacked by three people at once - Rob, Jay & their friend from Tainted Hate...lol...They were SOOOOO drunk-get to that in a minute.
So I go in w/ Roxx, who rescued me from my drunken sandwich attack on three sides, and watched the goofballs from Yucky Octopus rock it out. I haven't seen them play in ages, and yea, they got better! Plus, someone came up to me and she remembered me from high school! I had no clue I'd run into Meggo either! There were a bunch of people there last night but I didnt' get too much of a chance to talk to everyone though...

So Thirty Stones comes onstage, immediately Rob Allen and Jay from Pallet dash over to the club side, armed with cup and pitchers of beer, and instead of sulking the whole time (because I wasn't buzzed or drunk at all last night, surprisingly) b/c I'm having nostalgia fits, I was laughing my ass off at the two of them while they danced around like a couple of monkeys, drunk and having general fun. And then at one point, the two of them are standing directly in front of Ben, both pantless. And dancing. Ho-ly shit. I honeslty don't know how Ben could keep from falling over laughing, but Tonya, Marc, Roxx and I were laughing so hard I was crying. THank god Liana took pictures...they prolly won't remember it tomorrow!
So yea, I'm doing something tonight, just not sure what yet...prolly Cabot, but I should give Tom a call to give him word on my decision-thing, or make it down to the Fat Cat and talk to him later...
