Tiramisu of ultimate happiness

May 27, 2013 22:56

Experiencing things is cyclic, like the (divine) tiramisu of happiness. Experience is shared. When I’m happy I bring it to the whole world, but the whole world may be unconscious of it. When you’re happy you light up the world around you.

I think I've been working too hard.

I input all my hours for work today this month, and I had almost 90 hours. I only work 2 or 3 days a week for translation.

Today I woke up in a foul mood. Read a work email of foul-ness. Had a terrible time meditating, although I felt better afterwards. Decided to take it easy and guilt-free for the day. I think the key to taking it easy is to never feel guilty about it. Otherwise it like cancels out the relaxing part. Like there are some things that just need to run through your system and then you're done.

Like today, I needed to rest and eat as much dessert and deliciousness as possible. Thankfully, it's memorial day and we just went to Nina's Mother's Day gathering last night so there were copious amounts of cake/pie and deliciousness.

Ate 2 pieces of strawberry pie and a really delicious by Momo (Nina's husband) sandwich for breakfast. Was still kind of in a crappy mood. I think it was because I was tired.

Took an accidentally 4 hour nap.

Got up at 15:00. Ate chocolate cake and strawberries for lunch. Made a quesdilla and nibbled at it throughout the afternoon, to prevent sickness from too much sugar :) And also for consistent energy. And because I wanted to eat it.

Worked for a couple hours. Finished translating some things. Record it later in the week.

Salad for first dinner.

Youth Connection. We did breathing meditation. It as awesome. Evan said he'd try it later. Hope he's doing well.

Tiramisu for second dinner. That was the divine tiramisu of ultimate happiness. Ate it slowly and savored every bite. I think I'm done with cakes for a while. Ahahaha. Sometimes you just gotta kill it. With cake love!

Cleaned the kitchen. Tidied up the altar a bit, but left the tea for Lifu 'cause he's been working on that.

Sherene got here today, but I was in the back. I'll see her tomorrow.

It's nice having more people here. Less chores!

Pretty awesome day. Bed now. Gotta get up early tomorrow -- for work!
