The long road, and yet it has only been a week
I can't believe that a week ago, I was in finals and now life has moved on yet again. Beth and I currently are using library internet as our telephone won't be hooked up for another two weeks. Phewy on that but oh well. Finals went fairly well I think. After finals the fun really began.
Drew came with my family and I to Victoria and had a blast. I loved it up there. We went to the gardens, rode the ferry (where I ran into a fellow HBM major working on the ferry) and we got to have a lot of fun just hanging out checking out museums, watching Imax, walking around downtown, introducing drew to an authentic chinese lunch (dim sum), greek food, and the all over culinary exploration. It was great.
Beth and I started here with our internship on wednesday and now that the worst is over (training) I think we'll have a lot of fun, if not be somewhat tired. Had the usual emotional instability that seems to be my reaction to every new situation that I get myself into. Each time, it gets weathered differently, even though I thought I was getting over it. Drew was a lot of help though probably freaked when he called and I was trying to keep it together...
So things are on the up and up. The past two days have been 8 hour work days and today beth and I worked 2.75 hours which wasn't too bad. Now the afternoon is ours to play and we're in doors typing away at computers...heh.
Oh and yeah, grades are out. I seriously was freaked out for this semester as I just kinda went bleh on my classes. MIS was a joke, acctg was sleepy if not a little interesting, hbm was not my taste and anth was a biased waste of my time. So with my lack of motivation, I figured I was looking at B's if i was lucky. I so lucked out! Got two a-'s, a b+ and a b. XD happy happy. Now i am just waiting on the letter from the university (telling my parents to love me less...j/k) saying that I certify for my major! :-D well that about catches things up with me. I miss you guys a lot.
