Moving to Nova Scotia.
Rented a little yellow house 150 steps from the ocean. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, den, kitchen, livingroom, slanty roof. On an acre and a half. 650 a month.
It's half an hour from downtown halifax, and the village daycare is 2 neghbours over. It goes, atlantic ocean, my house, corner store, daycare.
The landlord is a carpenter who is connecting Niall with someone who is looking to find an apprentice carpenter.. he also gave me the email of his good friend , who runs a rehab program for addicts at the halifax hospital.
I had an interview with a company that runs a residential treatment centre 20 minutes from my (new) house. I think it's all going to be ok.
Also, you can buy lobsters in the halifax airport. they pack them up for you and you can bring them on the plane. I might just turn my aquarium into a salt water tank when I get there and have a pet lobster.
