OMG! seizures are scary if you do not know what is going on i was the official "go to" girl when stephen, a bagger at one of my grocery store jobs, would go. i usually knew when it was coming, i could see it coming before anyone else could, generally 10 minutes before he went. so, i would have him come bag for me, and when he looked up and paused, i would move to the end and wait to catch him. most of the time i could get him to walk with me to a chair in the cafe. the first few times witnessing one are very scary, because you don't know what to expect. after a while it becomes old hat. you will begin to recognize the warning signs, and you will know when he is entering one. just remember to keep your cool, get another sitter with you if you can, and don't stick anything in his mouth like a thumb or something that could break off. has your dad been to the dr to get this properly diagnosed? his seizures sound a little more violent than they should/need be. meds help a whole lot. also, the puking thing is a little more uncommon, is he diabetic? that may be a cause. <333333 it's okay sweetie. it's nerve wracking to be sure, definetly go for a little walk and go get a hug from your dad. unless y'all dont get along in which case don't but yeah. definetly go for a walk and take a breather <3333
it wasn't really puking.. more like foaming out the mouth & nose.. every other fucking doctor we've taken him to have said "oh it's from alcohol withdrawal! just stop drinking" & sent him on his way. but you know, my mom can ALWAYS tell when he's been drinking & he hasn't touched alcohol for at least 2 months, & this doctor said it has to be more than that. so he's actually going to follow-up on it! heh yeah. they're strongly considering putting him on anti-seizure meds because it's too fucking sketchy for this to be happening & call the other doctors being like well just stop drinking, these could stop within 6 months. basically, they told us there's nothing they could do to prevent them! but this one said meds could work, because if it were from alcohol withdrawal it would've been within a few days of drinking, not months! gha. i'm okay though, he's okay. i'm just mildly traumatized, it was scary to watch.
