Picture time! :)
Yesterday I went to Louvain to meet up with my friend Lora, who lives and studies there.
We went book shopping and found loads of interesting books in two different stores :)
We also popped by our friend Sam's job so I could hand him the bag of birthday presents Bert and I had assembled for him.
For once we weren't even massively over time as his birthday was last Saturday :)
I asked Lora if she wanted to go to Greenway for lunch, because I LOVE Greenway and hadn't been since June last year in Ghent :(
She didn't mind, and hadn't been there before, a situation that HAD to be rectified!
And rectified it was!
We both had a carrot burger :)
We spent the rest of the day wandering about and lounging on a bench in the park.
I didn't get sunburned (only JUST avoided) but inspite of my giant floppy hat, I still got a bout of sun allergy, which sucked. At least I didn't burn this time. I am, howevered, covered in bug bites and my Zatchels satchel gave me a bit of a scrape on the leg :(
Apparently my petticoat had been protecting me for ages. Luckily I have plenty of other bags I can use when it's too warm for pettis :)
Oh and Yves Rocher after sun, the regular one without bronzer, really does help to alleviate bug bite itching!

Right when I was getting ready to go to bed, I found Loa playing with something. Said something turned out to be a poor bug that hadn't managed to escape the kitten. It had already lost a paw, but aside from that it was absolutely fine (thankfully!) and I put it in a jar. Without a lid because it couldn't walk up against the glass. I put a paper towel in there with it so it could hide in it. And of course today I released it in the garden, but not before taking a picture!
