The sickness has officially passed through the house(knocking on wood). 3 weeks worth of at least one of us hacking up rainbows.
Sophmiester: Walks a few steps before catapulting herself into whatever she's going toward. 2 molars have erupted, as well as finally the 4th bottom front- she was asymmetrical for months. I need to get her hair trimmed. I chickened out when I went in for mine(which was sorely needed) She is also responding to "how big is Sophie?" with jazz hands, brushes her hair with not just combs/brushes, but pens, toilet paper rolls, her spoon full of oatmeal, etc...If there's a box, she's fighting the cat to be in it. Gratuitous picture:
John: working working working. He took care of the ailing child on Friday night so I could hang out- much needed after a week with a sick Sophie. He also let me sleep in on Saturday and took care of the kid and got me out of the house on Sunday for a ride.
Me: After not learning my lesson with the 50 products in 2 weeks, I have agreed to take on 30 in less than 1 week. Hopefully I won't have to do these with a fever, hacking/netipotting up rainbows and 2 other projects needing to be done(and making it worse by sleeping 3-5 hours a night and not eating right). Up side is, they really like my work and will be coming to the house on Thursday morning to work on some catalog cover shots. Which means tomorrow will be obsessive cleaning. I will have to keep myself away from Facebook.
Studio is slowly evolving into a room- full use of the entire house(minus a bathroom) is in sight! Got all the fabric in my half of the closet and working on organizing paperwork. Going to attempt 3 shows(2 sewing/painting, 1 photo) this Spring. We'll see how that goes.
Speaking of Spring, the witchhazel and crocus are blooming. wee! Gotta get the peas in the ground.
Speaking of veggies, we signed up for a local farm's csa(community supported agriculture) which means from May to October, every Saturday we'll walk down to the Old Beach Farmer's market to pick up a box of organic veggies that we paid for up front, so we better eat 'em. It also means one more errand we need to have someone do for us when we go outta town.
Looking forward to hopefully some camping this Spring before the bugs come.
but first I sleep.
