17.4 pounds, 27" long, 17" head- all in the 25th-30th percentile. She's perfect on the curves for the height and head, but weight dropped a bit- the doc isn't concerned, since she's become ACTIVE. In fact she kicked and smacked at him like a 1 year old(and tried to eat the stethascope) as he was doing the exam.

New game: Smash up against the side of the play yard

She's crawling with the belly up off the floor with more regularity. She's standing and moving the beads on the wire toy and walking holding on to fingers. Letting go of the furniture, getting freaked out, then grabbing on again. She can tear up a handful of Cheerios(or 10). Mad excitement happens when the cat comes into view with a laugh, smacking the Mama and exclaiming KEEEEEEKAAAAACCCC!(close enough to kitty cat...) then the dog comes in because attention has been paid to the cat and more excitement with more smacking and a "dugdugdugdugdgudgudug"

Scene yesterday: I heard grunting and commotion from her room(thus signalling that she was awake from midmorning nap). I rounded the corner to find her, still on the inside of the crib, but hanging by her hands with her feet trying really hard to get traction on the rungs to get out.

Quirk: She won't consume liquids. AT ALL. She's got the concept of the sippy cups we got, as well as straws and regular cups, but when the liquid reaches her mouth, it gets spit down the front of her. This holds true for milk, juice, formula, and water. She has also decided that nursing isn't really for her anymore, and the soupier the food, the messier meals are. However, she's healthy(other than the cold the entire family has had in the last week) has the appropriate mount of wet diapers and seems perfectly happy. So it's just a matter of keep trying and see.

Quirk: Most bites=normal. A few=spitting the contents out then wiping them all over face. Some =

New awake time= 7:30. New must sleep time=8. So much for getting to sleep in, although midmorning nap usually is happening around 9.

Le'ssee...I think that pretty much sums it up.
