Dear Universe,
It's not that I'm complaining about having challenges and the occasional spiritual/ethical/emotional crisis. They happen, they help me to evolve. They are useful, and I appreciate them, even when riding the storm.
But could the next one PLEASE not be scheduled on a week when I'm trying to cram for a gallery show? For the love of FUCK.
KTHXBYE.

kittenpants I have three more pieces to get done in the next 8 hours, including art, connecting my scanner to the network (ha ha joy), scanning, mounting, and framing. No time to sleep. And I've been through the emotional wringer this week. I have a sore throat and the sniffles, and one piece of art has already turned out to be unmarketable crap, and I'm having to start over in a new medium.
Is it really going to be worth pulling an all-nighter to do this?
I'll do one more piece, and re-assess. If it's a thing of beauty, I'll keep going. If it also turns out to be crap, I'll call it a wash and get some @#$% sleep.
::EDIT::
Whoa, that worked. Okay, charcoal it is, and damn the torpedoes!
::EDIT 2::
I hate setting up this printer/scanner/thingy. I can get the printer to see the network, and the network to see the printer. I cannot, however, get my OS to see the printer through the network. I'm going to sleep, and I'll troubleshoot in the morning.
::EDIT 3::
As of 11:20 am, the scanner is still not working. I have spent more time on HP websites than is reasonable for a Saturday before noon. I have missed the jury process, but will hit it next month -- I hope -- unless I'm at the Grove that weekend.
