We are all instruments in the orchestra of life. Many of us play on regardless of the audience, because the world must know our song, and if out of tune, it matters not. And then there are those of us that need far more time to repair, unwilling to let a note be misplayed. We are musicians as well, some with skill to restore what others would believe completely broken. Even a string instrument, without its primary source of music, its core all mangled and its strings gone missing, can with time and love begin to resonate once more.
