(no subject)
I have reached a new level in clumsy. While walking through a closing door at work I managed to undo all but one of the 5 snaps on the front of my scrubs (just about baring all) and pull the scrunchi out of my hair.
I have no idea how I did this but I did.
The other funny thing that happened to me today is I had a lady come in and want to speak with the officer who confiscated her dog. Thing is, on Wednesdays all the officers meet at about 9 AM (lady came in 9:10) in a small room just off the front lobby. So when I go to check all the lady knows is that I went down a side hallway and within 30 seconds was back saying "he's in a meeting". She gave me a disbelieving look and towards the end of our conversation said "Is he even here? Is he really in a meeting?" and I said yes. I later thought (and perhaps should have done) that I should have marched her down the hallway and SHOWN her the meeting just so she'd believe me! She eventually came back later that day and got her dog. Fortunately when I went to get the officer that timeI met him in the hallway so it just about took me the same amount of time! I don't know whether or not she believes he was in a meeting but at least she paid her fines and took the dog home.
Whew. Ready for pizza!
