have you seen Marie Antoinette? i was expecting to hate it cos i'm so possessive about the music used in the movie, and i didn't like the idea of Sofia C. "introducing" it to the world in that particular context. however, i loved the movie, and the use of all that 80's New Romantic and goth stuff was BRILLIANTLY done, it worked so well i thought. felt bad for judging too soon.

No, I haven't seen it yet, but that reminds me that I should check it out from the library...I've been wanting to see it (for all the interesting aspects you mentioned).

I believe it. In the right part, she is really good (Eternal Sunshine Of the Spotless Mind, for example).

yeah, she was totally adorable in that, just playing herself but so perfect. i loved when she and Marc Ruffalo were jumping on the bed wearing those glasses! and when she says goodbye to him and calls him by his full name, can't remember it but it's something really funny.
