Sarasa Gel Retractable pens with a soft rubber grip are the best pens ever. They do not smudge when I write with *one of the joys of being left handed* and the ink is the perfect black. I borrow them from my dad all the time and he surprised me with my own 10 pack yesterday

Oh, and I hated in college or high school the desks were totally biased...instead of being able to rest your notepad on the desk, and hold your book in your lap, you had to do the opposite...which resulted in my notes being totally lopsided.
