God, I'm such a lazy blogger
I really admire everybody who updates on a regular basis. I'm just too lazy. Here is my update.
Job: Still working overnight shift in Credit Card Customer Service. It's .... ok. The job's not that bad, most of the time. There are bad days. I have concrete plans for returning to classes and I am sustained by hope. My sleep schedule approaches anarchy, but working nights allows me to stick to my guns about sales. It also takes more skill - I have to handle almost every call myself, the only other department open is Fraud.
Man: Met him online at the beginning of April; we've been in almost constant contact since then, about 3-10 hours of talking/texting/IMing/camming/what-have-you every day, with a few exceptions. I'm insanely, wildly, ridiculously in love and he feels the same way. It's very long distance, though the time difference works in our favor. We had four and a half fantastic days together at the end of May. He's coming back in August and I'm visiting him in November. It's been amazing and wonderful and I'm looking forward to the future.
There are a few other things - I'm trying to work out more regularly and eat better, with some success. Gas prices are ludicrous, taking everything else with them, but everyone knows about that. I'm taking some glass classes and have made paperweights and flowers so far. (The furnace has been shut down for the summer, so I'll be taking a welding class next.) I'm really enjoying the classes, and looking forward to glass blowing in September.
Life is definitely looking up.
