Riding in Cars with Boys and a Girl In Irvine
Ok, sorry everyone, I know I said that I was going to update yesterday. Sorry, I'm a busy girl! So now you get a super sized journal entry!
Well Sunday night was the amazing AFI concert! The night started out with Damion picking me up and we headed to Brians and took his car to UCI. We got some In-and-Out MMMMMMMM, and headed to the parking structure for the concert. Well we had to wait for Steven, who was coming from base. We told him to just take the 73 toll road and he call us later saying that it dumped him on the 405, so he was all they way up in Fountain Valley or something! ARG! Finally he found Irvine and we headed to the show! The opening bands were ok, Death by Stereo and Avenge Sevenfold. Then AFI hit the stage and they were amazing!! Everyone was into the show, and from the looks of it the pit was insane! So if you aren't a moshing veteran, stay out of AFI's pit! We got to see a guy stage dive, and a fan got on stage and started to sing with Davey Havok! He was actually pretty good. The best part was when Davey started to crowd surf, he was sitting up, the spot light was on him and everyones hands were reaching for him, it was and awesome sight! That was defiantly one of the best shows I have ever been to. AFI is now one of my all time favorite bands!
Well after the super show, the boys and I headed to Earl's, a white trash, 25 hour diner that you can still smoke in. The food was actually really good. I got some biscuits and gravy with sausage and hot tea, cuz my voice was got from yelling and singing, and smoking a little. After Earl's Damion and I spent some quality time together **wink*wink**.
After that awesome night, I got to go to school on Monday, so boring! I then headed to Anee's to pick her up so we could go to the spectrum and see the Coldplay DVD presentation. We got there early so we ate at The Cheesecake factory and did a little shopping. I bought a new pair of Vans, it cost 50 bucks and finding out I'm broke. We then headed to the theater. The show was pretty cool. We just watched the concert part and left before the tour diary. I then dropped off Anee and headed home. Just before I got onto my street, I realized that I left my new shoes in the theater! SHIT!! I when to get more gas for the car in case I had to go back down there that night, as I did that I called information and had them connect me to the theater, but they only had recorded messages that asked for movie times and shit like that. So I went back down to Irvine and asked them if they had them at the lost and found, nope, so they let me back into the theater, and they weren't there and it looked like they didn't clean up yet so someone jacked my new shoes! I was so pissed that I just spent $50 on something that made me broke, then I had to drive all the way back down there just to see that the shoes were gone! But I guess it's my own fault that I forgot about them. Well I hope you are enjoying my new shoes, who ever you are! (fucking bastards!!!!)
This weekend I'm going to Palm Springs with my grandma for a math conference for teachers. So I'm going to go to a couple of elementary math meetings even though I don't want to teach anymore. I just don't know how to tell them. Maybe I will after this trip.
