State Emblems of Victoria

Flower: Pink Heath
Animal: Leadbeater's Possum
Bird: Helmeted Honeyeater.

The question went around at work. First to respond gets a prize. My trivia-laden brain took all of about 20 seconds to remember (most of that time was spent in thinking for the flower one).

I'm staring at my prize right now. It's a bottle of Ninth Island bubbly. Suh-weet. I think I need to store it in the fridge. I don't know when I'll drink it. But yay! Free alcohol.

I've spent all day trying to download 3 albums by the band Le Vibrazioni (the band of the bad facial hair, puffy frilled shirts and plum coloured satin suits.) Their first album is available in the Australian iTunes store, but the other two aren't. I cannot comprehend why this would be! It's just an inane decision that someone has made - and I can't work out the reasoning behind it. So, I've been looking for all the songs on LimeWire. Fuck, it's painful. Stupid bloody BMG. I'm willing to pay them money for their product - but they're not putting their product there for me to buy!!! I'm only 7 or so songs short... I'll keep looking even though some of the LimeWire downloads have the last 1 or 2 seconds cut off. It is noticeable, but what else to do?

Go to Mondo Music, and hope that they're in stock there? Then pay an obscene price for imported CDs. Maybe JB HiFi can order them in. Oh, the premium you pay for something, just because it's got to come from another country. Those three books I've ordered from the Foreign Language Bookshop are costing me about $50 each. Liga had better write books as well as he writes music.

Still, at least I can get hold of the Italian things I love so much. I've pretty much given up on trying to get Indonesian music.
