It is with pleasure that I now announce that I can put Gill's harness on him, without getting myself clawed to pieces. I let him outside without his harness a couple of times, then denied him the pleasure of going out at all, and then would show him that I was about to go outside, put the harness on, and then let him out too. It's quite cute now. When he sees me head to the door, he jumps up on the little thing I keep my keys and stuff on, and sits there nicely while I put the harness on. He really is quite an intelligent cat.
Captioning is still a lot of worktime fun. I got my first thing edited tonight.... 22% error rate = not good. However, most of those errors were two of my old bogies, which are just going to constantly get better and better, so if we don't include those in the count, it plummets to 6%. Whoo-hoo! Of course, I'm working now on an episode of a gameshow, which are notoriously difficult (please, host - SHUT UP! Or speak slower - either will do) so it'll be interesting to see how I rate there.
Also LOVE working a 3pm to 10pm shift. My sleep patterns and I adore this. It does mean that I can't go to derby training though, so as soon as I start the 2 weeks of morning shift, I'll have to attend every single session available to keep my attendance percentage up.
