Dale's Potential Job
It's official! As of now, Dale is officially hired with a sub-contractor in the South West Oklahoma area for Dish Network!
*explodes into happy fits*
He got the call this afternoon, after we came back from grocery shopping. He'll be training with a guy named Kent starting tomorrow morning! It's not that we weren't sure that this was going to go through, but it's just that sometimes until things are in motion, it's hard to imagine a change like this. Dale will nearly be making 3 times as much as we were with dad, and he tells me that it took his own father 20 years to make this kind of money. *faints*
It's almost too much!
What more, Bill brought his wife out here and she loves the four-wheelers. So as soon as Dad gets back from Tulsa, he will be talking to our loan-officer to see about making a few changes to the existing loan on the bikes. We'll release the bikes and take Bill's 2002 Toyota Tacomah and start making payments on it instead.
Jeez, I'm so excited.
This week may creep by a bit, and Dale will only be making training pay, but it won't be long until we can figure out which direction we're going to head. Hopefully we'll know more about which areas he's going to serve in the upcoming weeks. That's what I love about these kinds of jobs though. We have quite a bit of liberty where location is concerned.
