There are two ways to get to the top of an oak tree. One way is to sit on an acorn and wait; the other way is to climb it.

This is funny.... Today hubby's birthday presents came. He wanted seeds to grow some special bonsai's. These seeds all have separate instructions on how to make them sprout... One has to be placed in warm for 120 days, then cold for 120 days, and then you can plant it in the ground, and the instructions say it may take 2-3 years to sprout.... I told hubby it was his lesson in patience. I got a big kick out of it. Luckily that is the longest one, but most of them require some kind of warm and then cold treatment for 60-120 days either way. He should be able to sow some of his seeds by spring I hope ;)
