Hot. . .

Holy crap. Who left the thermostat set so fucking high. . . . 103 says the outside thermometer, 93 says the inside one. Cooler in the basement, so I am hiding down here with all the pets and some nice cold beer. Half tempted to grab the cooler to hold it in so that I don't have to keep going upstairs ;)

Saturday is Jedifreeman's birthday party. :D Friday is his actual birthday. So yay! That should be fun. We are pretty much going to have gameday in the morning and then the evening becomes party time. So if you want to have fun and are in the area, come over. I can't promise less than 100 outside temperature, but I can promise cold drinks and good company.

Most of my time is being spent hanging out with Lori and travelling around to various doctor appointments. Which kinda hinders getting much done at home, but I have fun company and get to drive in my car. I do have to say it is FAR more enjoyable when it isn't 100+ degrees, but we can't control that :(

Something kinda funny. We will be having Lori's little brother staying here for a few months beginning late August. I think her idea of a birthday present is a bit odd, but he might be useful to get some things done.

I setup a clothesline! I love the way my blanket smells now that it hung outside to dry! Too bad I haven't been able to actually USE said blanket in a few days, but again NOT MY FAULT! :P Right now we have pants hanging to dry. I am glad I got this up because it is too fucking hot in the house to run the dryer without me wanting to kill. Since we don't want me going all postal on people this is a wonderful thing. I have blankets in the washer to hang up for later.

Now I am going to go drink a nice cold beer, watch some Dollhouse (yay dvd!) and wait for outside to get cool enough to make fire in the fire pit. Granted it isn't supposed to get BELOW 67 this evening. Tomorrow shall be cooler topping at 100 and getting down to 60 tomorrow night. I am kinda excited for this.

Although I am now kicking myself for not remembering to look for a bug lotion or something that doesn't smell as bad as bug spray but works as well. . . oh well. I am delicious and I will provide baby mosquitos with life by feeding their mom as she prepares to lay her eggs. Aren't I generous. ;)
