(no subject)
My days are a breeze now. Every day at work the time shoots by. Once in awhile I sit idle but I always try and come up with new things to do. I am no longer a robot doing monotonous tasks, I can actually use my brain at work now! I take calls, confirm purchase orders, set up packets for new vendors or items, check email, fax letters, answer calls...the ultimate office job. It's fuckin fantastic. I love it. Praise Jesus/Buhdda/Allah. And it's so relaxed in the office. I haven't heard anyone outright bitch about anything yet. It's such a transition. I really have come to think people in the office are just too busy and bogged down with work/contacts/deadlines to be complaining. All the complaining I hear is about vendors that chooses to be pain in the asses. It's so great. And now I feel like I have a life. On my days off I can have fun since I have more hours during the work week to clean and get stuff done. What a fuckin blessing.
I'm thinking about giving Shoopuff and Pummpkin away since we got another addition to our cats. This new one, Bandit, came from my neighbor that side swiped me (ironically). Well apprently her husband walked out on her and she had to move and poor Bandit has no place to go. Originally I was offering to take Bandit and later find him a home...but now I've gotten attached. He is SOOOOO friendly (much more so than the kittens) and super duper affectionate. The kittens are really detached. They scamper away at the sight of humans. I think it's because they have each other to concentrate on rather than interacting with humans. I dunno, I'll have to think about it.
