Delaware Furbowl 34 POST MEET REPORT

DE Furbowl 34 was one of the best events we've had so far. Everything came together just right and we rounded out the night with a snazzy 137 people!

As you may have noticed we did a few things differently with the layout of the party room this time around. The DE Furbowl staff went out and measured the place to figure out exactly how to utilize the party space in the most efficient manner.

The Fursuit Headless Lounge was expanded and the entrance was flipped to the other side. We brought the fursuit lounge wall out as much as we could without interfering with the party space. This has the benefit of making it harder to just glance inside, as well as making the privacy corner a little more secure. LupineSpark also designed the fursuit bin shelves that helped pick the bins up off the floor and Sapphy did a wonderful job as the new Fursuit Lounge Director! We're confident that this design will be able to handle and grow with the DE Furbowl in the coming events!

The Artist's Alley turned out to be a huge success and we were very happy to see it finally come to fruition. The tables were something we've been trying to get together for quite a few events. It was another feature that finally come to fruition when we finally measured out and dedicated the space for them.

As you may have also noticed the group photo has moved yet again! We're going to be using the space in the front party room (near the arcade machines) for the photo from now on. The photo's look great and we were able to get a much clearer shot of everyone! We got a ladder to get above everyone else, and we laid down blue tape to help direct everyone. It all came together just right and you can check out the group shots here: Fursuiter Photo, Group Photo. Now we just have to make sure everyone looks at the right camera and not at the ground. :3

The event's theme of "Classy" was a huge success and a lot of fun. We more than likely will be using it in future DE Furbowl seasons as it's never a bad time to wear a tie!

In fact the event ran so well I can only talk about one minor quibble. And that was folks getting ahead of schedule! We love your enthusiasm for the event and folks getting there early is a pretty good problem to have. However arriving to our vendors too early does put pressure on them they weren't expecting. And it puts pressure on us as well when people start showing up while we're still setting up! However this is only a minor complaint for an otherwise perfect night.

As always please let us know of any raves, nays, comments, or complaints that you have about the DE Furbowl! The DE Furbowl can do nothing but get stronger with your input!

Can't wait to see you all again for another fun, furry night!
