As of 4-16-2008 this journal is going friends only. My friending policy is fairly relaxed and I will generally friend back most people if I can see common interests and the journal does not appear to have been created within the last three minutes. However, if you're unsure, please feel free to leave a comment letting me know that you've added me and I'll add you back no problem!

If you're just here for the (ever so rare these days) fic, rest assured that it will remain unlocked and I have no intention of locking it in the future, so don't feel you need to friend me just to see it.

What you will see if you friend me: Blabbing about RL issues, whining about school, excited rambling about NASCAR in general and Clint Bowyer in specific, SGA squee, and whatever else flits across my mind while I happen to be sitting in front of my computer. I have the attention span of a gnat, seriously.

My reasons for flocking after nearly 8 years with a general no-flock policy: As time has gone by I've found myself locking down more and more entries out of a vague sense of paranoia. I've also been blogging long enough that more people I know IRL have a knowledge of the existence (if not the exact whereabouts) of this blog. While I don't give a shit if they find my porn fic, or know about my fannish squee (because seriously, anybody that's known me for more than five minutes is probably aware that I am a dork) the last thing I need is to start a ridiculous amount of drama at college or at work because I was having a crappy day and whined about it in front of the wrong audience. So, locking becomes the next best option. Also, I've stopped posting as much as I'd like to, and while part of that has to do with how busy I am these days, I feel that a great deal of it is born of an inner sense of "omg, do I do anything other than complain?" and flocking is my way around that. For some mysterious reason, I feel no remorse for being a whiny brat if I lock it down first. Consider that your warning.
