So, I've not played with anything in photoshop yet (which was the original reason I wanted the scanner, ironically) but I have uploaded a few of the random SGA sketches and toons I've done. So, I thought I'd share, cause it's 11 at night and I've nothing better to do.

I'm really glad you liked them. The third one is my favorite too. Amusingly, I didn't even know what I was drawing at first with that one. I just started drawing pissedoff!Rodney and the next thing I knew he was on a skateboard and trying to break John's shoulder ;)
I want to write an outtake of John teaching Rodney to ride his skateboard. (No, not a euphemism at all, no.)
I could so see John trying to teach him and poor Rodney just flying off the thing. I love skateboards, but I always end up on my backside with bruises everytime I try them. Heh. Also, I'm now never going to be able to look at a skateboard without thinking about things that should not be associated with a skateboard. Ever. *g*
Rodney's hair in the second one! It's totally traumatized!
It really is. I can't help thinking that he looks like a reject from an anime show. Hair gel is an artform. One that's abused on a daily basis by far too many men ;)
Also, I'm glad you thought the life drawing sketch was recognizable. That thing was a total bitch and scared me away from trying again for quite a while.
