(no subject)
So, I'm going to NYC/NJ. Ostensibly, this is for the free concert. Beast is on the proposed guest list, after all. Along with 4Minute, TVXQ, and a number of others that I'd love to see.
Honestly, though, I'm doing so much MORE. I've already gotten tickets to see Wicked on Broadway and I'm hovering indecisively on whether or not to get Avenue Q tickets. (off Broadway, but still!) I will have my kids on Sunday for sure and I may be going to see them play soccer games on Saturday, though I'm still debating specifics with the ex's new wife - since he's out of town.
Then there's also the cultural festival and whatnot that's supposed to be in conjunction with the concert itself.
This is going to be a real vacation.
The kind where you go and be a tourist and do sightseeing and watch things you can't watch at home.
I don't think I've ever actually had one of those. :x At least, not one that wasn't controlled by my ex.
This totally makes up for the nastiness that is my job right now.
