SO!
This post is really for Loeki and Alru. And Pat, but he doesn't read my LJ, so I'll take a leap of faith and assume Alru will tell him. This is about the PA RenFaire.
I mentioned to my mom about how you all wanted to go to the PA RenFaire. She suggested that the three of you just come with us when we go up. We would just book another room- all of us can fit in the minivan so we wouldn't have to worry about driving ourselves up to Manheim, Pennsylvania.
We're thinking the 17th, 18th, and 19th of October to go up.
The general idea for Friday is that we meet at my house (since I have morning classes I would be taking the train home) and be ready to leave around 3 in the afternoon. On the other hand, if you want to leave earlier (in which case we'd be leaving around noon) we could hit Hershey Park for $32.
Mom looked up some cheaper hotel prices. These are the cheapest.
-The Hampton Inn in Hershey/Harrisburg is $67 per person. That's for two nights, and breakfast is included.
-There's a Super Eight (a nice one- we've stayed there before) in Harrisburg that's $43 per person for two nights. No breakfast.
Tickets to the Faire (with college ID! Bring your ID!) are $25. That's for Saturday, and we would be spending almost the entire day there. We try to get to the Faire for opening, if we remember correctly that's at like... 10 in the morning. So everyone would have to be ready by the time we leave.
So. Summary!
$100 for two nights at SuperEight, RenFaire ticket, and Hershey. No food included.
$124 two nights at Hampton, RenFaire ticket, and Hershey. Breakfast included each morning.
If no Hershey, take another $32 off the price.
Oh yeah! Mom's thinking about something and wants to know if anyone has a peanut allergy.
